The x11/alacritty port

alacritty-0.12.3 – cross-platform, GPU-accelerated terminal emulator (cvsweb github mirror)

Description

Alacritty is a modern terminal emulator that comes with sensible
defaults, but allows for extensive configuration.

The software is considered to be at a beta level of readiness; there
are a few missing features and bugs to be fixed, but it is already
used by many as a daily driver.

Configuration
=============

Please read through alacritty(1) if you have any doubts.

The `alacritty.yml` template is:

	${PREFIX}/share/examples/alacritty/alacritty.yml

Alacritty looks for a configuration file in the following paths:

1. `$XDG_CONFIG_HOME/alacritty/alacritty.yml`
2. `$XDG_CONFIG_HOME/alacritty.yml`
3. `$HOME/.config/alacritty/alacritty.yml`
4. `$HOME/.alacritty.yml`

If none of these paths exist, then the following file is created on first run:

	`$XDG_CONFIG_HOME/alacritty/alacritty.yml`
